Using Osmo with an iPad as a Doc Cam

The Osmo is a $40 device that turns your iPad into a document camera. This video shows how to use the free Osmo projector app  and a lightning cable to display your iPad screen as if it were a doc camera in Google Meet. This method will only work on a Mac.

Using a Mount with an iPad as a Doc Cam

Various options exist to "mount" your iPad in a elevated and stationary position so that you can:

1. Connect your iPad to the classroom AppleTV
2. Open the Camera app on your iPad
3. Display the content under the iPad's camera on the classroom display (book, manipulatives, etc)
