Creating a YouTube PlayList

CREATE a Playlist

Go to Youtube.com
Ensure you are logged in with TTSD Account
Locate youtube video you want to add to your playlist
Click the Three Dots menu below the video
1. Select Save
2. Add to PlayList (or Create New) - please change the title of your playlist (either new or existing playlist) to "username-playlist"
3. Ensure your PlayList has a visibility setting = "Public"

FIND and SUBMIT the Playlist URL

NOTE: You will only need to submit this request one time. For additional videos, you add them to your playlist, and students can access them almost instantly.

Go to Youtube.com
Ensure you are logged in with TTSD Account
Click on PlayLists on the left menu (or under the "hamburger" menu)
Locate the playlist you want to share
Click View full playlist
Click on the Share Button, click Copy.
Please submit a tech ticket asking for your playlist to be added to the filter and PASTE the URL you copied from step 6.

Use a specific YouTube video in your playlist with Canvas/Seesaw, etc

NOTE: K-8 students cannot access YouTube without a direct link to the YouTube videos. Please follow the instructions closely, especially steps 6 and 7.

Go to Youtube.com
Ensure you are logged in with TTSD Account
Click on PlayLists on the left menu (or under the "hamburger" menu)
Locate the playlist you want to share
Click View full playlist
Click on the video that you want to share
Copy and paste the URL to your LMS tool.

Following the steps above will ensure that you copy and paste the link with the correct format. Please use the examples below to determine if your link is using the correct format. The correct format has "&list=xxxxxxxxxxx".
