Cleaning your projector’s air filter on a regular basis will help your projector lamp last much longer. Since lamps tend to get dimmer as they age and they are very expensive to replace, cleaning your air filter is a free way to extend the life of your lamp and the projector itself.
Cleaning your air filter is as easy as 1, 2, 3….
Locate the air filter one the projector lens and remove it. Filter location will vary from one model to another, but they are often below the lens or on one side behind a protective grille.
Use compressed air or just a good puff or two from your mouth to blow all of the dust from the filter.
Reinstall the air filter.
